Red – Columbia Valley
This collection of Red wines features rich fruit from Washington’s largest viticulture region, The Columbia Valley. It lies in the rain shadow of the Cascade Mountain range where it has an arid, continental climate, receiving an average of 6 to 8 inches of precipitation annually. Pure dark fruit reds and aromatic whites are the hallmark of our winemaking production using this fruit.
Prominent savory aromas make a nice introduction alluding to fragrant dried herbs and green peppercorn that wrap around notes of dark fruit. On the palate, flavors of black plum mix with notes of cocoa powder that linger before leading to a finish hinting at earthy semi-sweet chocolate.
Floral-herbal aromas of green peppercorn, new leather and white pepper that wrap around notes of smoky, jammy black fruit. Nicely layered with rich flavors of blueberry that are quickly balanced with growing notes of chocolate, joined by lingering spice through an extensive finish.
Aromas of plum, mossy earth and allspice, with flavors of plum pudding and spicy pink peppercorns on the finish.
