2018 Pinot Noir Reserve, Willamette Valley
This wine was held over for an extra year for additional aging as an experiment. There were 7 barrels, 6 from our vineyard (Yamhill-Carlton) and 1 from Eola Amity Hills; it is composed of Pommard, 777 and 828 clones. The wine has had 28 months in barrel, it is higher in alcohol because it was such a hot year and also because it is concentrated some from aging. All of the barrels were neutral oak.
Tasting Notes
