August Wine & Happenings
August has arrived and with it comes the end of another hot Oregon summer. The vines are vibrant shades of green with hidden clusters of young fruit peeking out between the leaves. It’s the perfect time to come visit us and enjoy some fantastic wines.

Sixth Annual Stargazing Party
September 14th, 2024, 6:30-9pm || Estate Tasting Room – Carlton
We are so pleased to announce that Chris James Cellars is partnering with The Carlton Observatory Project for our sixth annual Stargazing Party at the Estate. Wine, Food, and the Cosmos!
We will be offering small plates paired with our wines. Relax and enjoy your food and drink before making your way to the top of the hill for star gazing using the telescopes brought out by the Carlton Observatory Project team.
A portion of the proceeds will go to support this wonderful non-profit to share the wonders of astronomy across generations.
$85/person, club member discounts apply.
$70/person, for kids and non-drinkers.

We’re appreciative of your ongoing support with our Wine Releases paired with our Charitable Giving Wine program! For over a year now, each month we have successfully raised funds to support our local nonprofit organizations while showing off our featured wines!
Featured August organization: Cruising McMinnville.
“Cruising McMinnville is a non-profit organization created to present an annual car show and cruise in Historic Downtown McMinnville. Our primary mission as a non-profit is to support students pursuing careers in the trades; automotive, welding, construction and more. We are pleased offer Scholarships that help Yamhill County graduates move on to trade schools and careers in their chosen fields. We also offer Teacher Grants to local educators that specialize in trade and STEM courses.”

Profile notes: Aromas of green apple nectarine and pineapple, with soft round flavors of apple, nectarine, and a hint of honey at the finish.

- WINE WEDNESDAY: Join us every Wednesday for a midweek treat at our McMinnville location! Enjoy a new wine flight as our menu switches over on Wednesdays, as well as drink specials (see below).
- B.Y.O.G (Bring your own games): Every Friday! Round up your friends, or just stop by to enjoy the environment. Every Friday at our McMinnville location, from 5 – 8 pm we offer our space for an evening of games, wine, and light fare!

Rhine Castles & Swiss Alps
